Heavy Metal Nation is a place for fans of heavy, interesting music to come and read, write, and comment on articles about heavy music. Well, to be as succinct as I can and not ramble on, I'll get right to business. My name, as you might have guessed, is Nick Mockoviak. I currently live in New Jersey in the Untied States. I am currently finishing my BA and Teaching Certification in the field of Art Education. To add to that, I am an illustrator that works primarily in the comic style (and open for commissions); you can see my online portfolio at my deviantART site.

I enjoy reading comic books, watching daikaiju (giant monster movies), drawing, and other such things.

Musically, my tastes have grown to be quite eclectic over the years, though I still lean towards the heavy side. Favorite band of all time is Metallica (natch). Too many to list here, but I'll pretty much listen to anything.
