Heavy Metal Nation is a website dedicated to Heavy Metal Music, and Heavy Metal Bands. The purpose of this site is to promote Heavy Metal Music, Heavy Metal Bands, and other items related to Heavy Metal.

Heavy Metal Nation is a non-profit website. All advertising income is used to host the site and domain name.

This site was started by Pharmer4 in August 2006 as an outlet for his hobby of reviewing and interviewing bands and people involved in Heavy Metal. Being an opinionated person, Pharmer4 felt the need to publish his opinions, and create a forum for other like-minded, and un-like-minded people to post their thoughts, rants, and well-thought-out critiques of all things Heavy Metal.

Despite the name and the focus on Heavy Metal, all types of heavy music that would make your grandparents shake their heads in disapproval fits here. This include rock, punk, hardcore, goth, emo, and antarctic polka.
